Revival of traditional water harvesting systems, construction of piped water supply systems and capacity building of stakeholders has helped in addressing the drinking water scarcity which is the primary problem in the villages Cohesion is active in.  Sanitation is an integral part of sustainable development of the water resources. Cohesion is trying to spread the message of health, hygiene and sanitation through awareness generation and training the communities on adopting better health and hygiene practices. In past we have worked with WASMO and State Government in different districts of Gujarat focusing on generating awareness on sanitation aspects and health education in the villages. Potable water for drinking and better sanitation facilities is the prime agenda.

Cohesion has been empaneled as Knowledge Partner for Gujarat and Maharashtra by Jal Jeevan Mission, Government of India for Capacity Building of stakeholders to ensure potable drinking water to rural households. (since 2021)

Cohesion is Implementing Partner for Gujarat with Atal Bhujal Yojana (ATAL JAL) is an initiative for ensuring long term sustainability of ground water resources in the country. (since 2021)
