An Engineer with a Post Graduation in Construction and Project Management from CEPT University in 2001, she has trained herself to apply her knowledge in the development sector. Cohesion’s encouragement to women staff and their future growth motivated her to further pursue PG course in Technology and Sustainable Development jointly conducted by IIT-Chennai and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne which helped her connect her professional training to the humanitarian sector. She has a keen interest in documenting grassroot practices, conceptualizing and designing interventions and analytical documentation. Earlier she started her career with international organizations like Oxfam and Care. During her 15 years of experience, she has worked as a full time employee as well as a consultant to various organizations. Although her association with Cohesion goes back to 2003 but she has actively been involved since 2016. She leads the research and monitoring functions of the organization and provides support across multiple areas of work in different states. She has been member of multiple evaluations and assessments that Cohesion carries out as a support organization. She has strategically diversified Cohesion’s donor portfolio to include reputed organizations such as Azim Premji Foundation, Misereor, HCL Foundation and many others and helped in increasing Cohesion’s knowledge contribution on diverse platforms.
Recently she has completed a 3 months online Certificate course on Corporate Social Responsibility- Its applies aspects from HCL Foundation Academy, which will help her in strategizing NGO-CSR partnerships and grants.
