Ms. Pinki Patel is a Gold Medalist from BRS college of Nardipur, Patan and has been with Cohesion since last 19 years. She started as a Community Mobilizer and owing to her skills and dedication to work she has risen to the position of Area Manager. Hers is a dedicated professional career where she has been able to develop models of women empowerment and girls education. Having a very strong knowledge of implementing strategies at grassroots and excellent community engagement skills, she has developed many sustainable CBOs at grassroots level. With expertise in Women rights she has hands on experience of developing successful women led enterprises and non farm livelihood models. Pinki is a role model in Cohesion working towards achieving the mission of organization and empowering grassroots women as well as linking them to Government schemes, business opportunities.

Her key experiences in past include working with village health and sanitation committees, team leader for Mother NGO of Patan working on the issue of reproductive child health and working with Women Farmers in South Gujarat. She is also a trainer for training different panchayat Samitis such as Pani Samitis, SMCs, Gram Sanjeevani Samitis and SHGs.

She has worked in various disaster programmes and understands clearly how vulnerability of women and girls increases in disaster affected situations.

At present she is based in Mehsana looking after Cohesion’s programme on women empowerment through SHGs. In her various roles at Cohesion she has closely worked with Health department, National Rural Livelihood Mission – Mission Mangalam, Tribal Sub Plan, Tribal development department, NABARD
