Keshav completed his B.Tech in Agriculture from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra in 2016 and has been involved working with farmers since then. Joining Cohesion in 2020, he has worked with BAIF, Swades Foundation and Working Group of Women’s Land ownership (WGWLO) in past.
He is based in South Gujarat and provides agriculture support alongside planning, implementation and coordination roles to the ongoing programmes with men and women farmers. He takes keen interest in developing innovative models and better practices such as seed banks, Farmer Field School, Promoting Drudgery Reduction Tools for women farmers etc. His understanding of tribal culture and practices helps him in delivering his knowledge with customized solutions to the territory. With effective communication skills and sound knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices, he is a very good trainer also and continuously engages with various stakeholders on Water and Sanitation, Agriculture, RTI, Forest Rights besides many other subjects. He believes that rural development is all about balancing five elements of nature- water, land, livestock, forest and people.
His key areas of interest are providing trainings on various aspects of sustainable practices in agriculture, working with women farmers especially small and marginal farmers, food security and livelihoods.
