Deepali Solanki, an agricultural engineer with six years of experience in natural resource management and livelihood development, hails from a small village in Maharashtra. After completing her graduation in agricultural engineering from Rahuri University, she began her career with the Deepak Foundation in the tribal belt of Gujarat. During her tenure, she worked on numerous CSR and NABARD projects, gaining extensive experience in watershed and non-watershed management, climate-proofing interventions, and the implementation of Micro Enterprise Development Programmes (MEDP) and Livelihood Enterprise Development Programmes (LEDP).
Deepali’s journey continued with Yuva Mitra, where she contributed to pond desilting and water conservation projects, playing a crucial role in sustainable water management practices. Her expertise further expanded during her time with the Cohesion Foundation, where she served as an Agriculture Expert specializing in orchard development. Deepali’s dedication to sustainable agriculture and natural resource management is evident in her impactful work, which consistently aims to improve the livelihoods of rural and tribal communities through innovative and sustainable agricultural practices.
