Budhabhai started working early while supporting his family business. Having done his M.Com from Gujarat University in 2001, Budhabhai has been working with Cohesion since 2002. In between he worked with YUVA before joining back Cohesion again in 2004. Working since 2004 he is the overall Financial Manager at Cohesion looking after financial management of multiple programmes across various states.

He has extensive management knowledge and experience of working with more than 20 years in managing the financial activities of the organization, including financial analysis and planning, accounting operations and reporting, budgeting and external audits. He has an excellent understanding of the latest accounting and financial concepts and possesses the ability to deal with changing organization’s requirements. He is always providing the required level of leadership and guidance needed to ensure that best practice is always followed. His strengths are his ability to meet all financial reporting and statutory deadlines to ensure the highest levels of financial integrity in any management reporting.

He establishes and improves upon the organization’s financial policies and procedures and has in depth understanding of due diligence processes and financial compliances for international donors, government agencies and CSRs. His programmatic skills include experience in working during disasters, financial training to SHGs and participating in research and surveys.
